Welcome to Holly High School...Home of the Bronchos!!!
Holly High School is located just south of Flint, Michigan along the I-75 corridor and Automation Alley. Holly High School is one of six schools located within the Holly Area School District. The high school has an enrollment around 1200 students and offers a diverse platform of both academics and athletics.
As I now enter my third year as Principal, I could not be more excited for what the future holds. There is no question that our district has taken on a different look with all of our new staff (both teachers and administration). I am very lucky to work in a district that has wonderful community support, great students, talented staff, and strong school culture.
For the community and students, the 2014-15 school year will have its up and downs, but most assuredly we will continue to move forward. While the high school still looks brand new (thanks to our wonderful grounds crew, custodians, students and staff), it is hard to believe that the building is now fifteen years old. Holly High School continues to make a name for itself. This is largely due to the efforts of our wonderful staff and students who take great pride in representing Holly.
The old saying is...my door is always open. That might be true, but you may not find me. I enjoy connecting with the building and students by getting out and about as much as possible. Not only for the safety and security of the building, but also to ensure that our building looks and feels the same when you return for the many years to come.
It is hard to imagine I am starting my 14th year in Holly. I have been blessed to be a teacher, union representative, assistant principal and now principal. I love the Holly area, it not only provides me employment but also access to many of my hobbies (golf, fishing, swimming, eating).
Simply put...Holly is not only a great school, but a school that our community, business and alumni should and will continue to be proud of. If I can ever do anything to help a member of the Holly High School family, please do not hesitate to call.
